Securing Bearings with Shaft Nuts or Slotted Nuts
Lintec shaft nuts are used in mechanical engineering wherever components on shafts need to be secured against lateral displacement, and the nut must be locked in place after tightening.
Lintec shaft nuts provide optimal mechanical protection against rotation and are available for both radial and axial clamping, depending on the installation environment. They allow the transmission of high axial forces while ensuring increased rigidity.
With axial clamping, only a very low tightening force is required to secure the shaft nuts. This prevents deformation of the nut body. In general, Lintec shaft nuts achieve higher clamping forces and a more efficient force distribution. A wide range of types is available to ensure the right solution for your application.
Corrosion-Resistant Stainless Steel Shaft Nuts
Many applications in the chemical, food, and vacuum industries require operation in aggressive media, water, or cleanroom conditions. The stainless steel versions of Lintec shaft nuts are completely corrosion-resistant, making them ideal for use in demanding environments.

Advantages of Lock Nuts and Grooved Nuts
Our lock nuts ensure reliable clamping of the nut onto the thread without causing any damage. The clamping element is pressed against the thread using axial or radial grub screws. By loosening the grub screws, the lock nut can be removed again without impairing the integrity of the thread. This process can be repeated as often as required, making our lock nuts a durable and reusable solution for secure fastening.
